Is Fame the ultimate Success? - Remembering KK.
What is success? Is it Fame? Power? Money? I think it means different to different people. If you ask me, for me it's simply happiness. Yes, I know it can't be permanent. I know, no one can be happy all the time. But success in any form is always temporary. Many people in this generation want to be famous that's their definition of success. But, is it worth it? Following your passion has got linked to becoming famous, if you have a talent you need to get famous in order to validate your expertise in it.
Recently two singers died due to different reasons. I haven't heard many songs by Siddhu Moosewala because of the apparent language barrier. But KK,
KK.
I won't be able to witness his amazing unsung songs, will have to manage with the good (g)old ones.
I have never mentioned this on this platform, but I am an avid music listener. And KK is one of the singers who showed me how meaningful a song can be and sometimes a song can even give you a learning or two. " Tan man kare tujhpe fida mehboob wo, palko pe jo rakhe tujhe mehboob wo, jiski wafa tere liye ho..." these lyrics are my utmost fave since forever, honestly. And when I was at my lowest my sister made me listen to "Ashayein, khile dil ki ummede hase dil ki ab mushkil nhi kuch bhi..." oh, how lovely this song is!
I wonder how it feels to be very famous, is it the same as being loved? I don't think so...
Off-topic but, Today, while I was writing a letter, which I will never send, to someone I realized that writing lifts up some weight off my chest. So, I will try to be as frequent as I can. :)
Be good today and do whatever makes you happy.
listening to Pyaar ke pal rn, it's so heartwarming.
Off I go,
~ ak.
