When it comes to Chat GPT , I feel...

 Hello,

A quick update from where I left off: Ah! It was a long long stressful journey, but now I now have a lot to share! So, I took many competitive tests from last year to this year, given many interviews for post grad colleges and jobs...pulled off the college's annual fest! Started a really great internship and, saved the best for the last, Met the love of my life... :P In my upcoming blogs, everything will be shared in great depth. So Simon, take a deep breath and wait for it.

Coming back to the point: Chat GPT has become a hot topic, and it seems to be the subject of conversation everywhere. So, as you know me, it was hard for me to hold back my views on it.

Initially, I was reluctant to use it, Nah! I don't need it. I am already good at this and will be better off... However, due to an urgent need, I had to use it once, and then BOOM! I am using it almost every day...

Today, while I sipped my cup of coffee, I wondered if, in light of the development of open AI, my abilities as a content and creative writer were no longer required. I suspect that the majority of authors may share this sentiment.

Naah, I came to the realisation that AI exists to assist my goal. It is a machine, and it requires the proper orders in order to produce the desired results. Therefore, it cannot be completely relied upon.

You can use a calculator to help, but it can't come up with formulae for you.

Would you ever entrust an automated vehicle with your life? I won't.

Alexa can play a song for you, but you'll need to tell it your musical preferences first, and there's a good possibility the tune it chooses won't be to your liking.

Also,

ChatGPT can provide information till 2021. And, if you paste a text generated by the AI and ask the conversation, "Has ChatGPT written this text?" it will deliver the appropriate response- Yes!

So circling back to my point, it can assist you, but you can't rely on it 100%.

Recently, my manager complimented me by saying that my reporting style and e-mail writing are excellent. On the other hand, when somebody from my team used chatGPT to write his emails he was caught and pointed out.... Only you know WHAT you want to convey and HOW you want to do it.

AI is there to simplify your life, but it cannot take your place.

You're irreplaceable!
